Pictograms are the most direct form of visual communication. I was provided with a list of 6 places on the RISD campus and asked to create a family of 6 pictograms that represent each location

In this project I was always very conscience of the fact that these pictograms were meant to be used at RISD, which is an arts school. The conventional pictogram is often very institutional, which would not fit with RHode Island School of Design.
